The Monarch Hotel - Nairobi

The staff was polite and attentive .

I faced numerous issues right from check-in. They charged me an absurd fee when I allowed family members into my room, which seemed like outright theft.

The rooms were well-appointed with good bathrooms with the expected accessories kept by the exceptionally helpful staff.

Well-maintained and reasonably priced hotel located in a safe area close to elephant orphanage. Free and delicious breakfast and amazing food selection. Very good service at all times. The easy check-in process too...

The friendly staff and fast check-in. Rooms are nice but the breakfast could be better. Beware of some noise from outside, it was a bit bothersome 😅

The Monarch Hotel made a great first impression with a friendly reception and a good cocktail as I checked in. The staff remembered my name. The breakfast offered plenty of choices and fresh juice.

The breakfast was free and delicious, had lots of options and the food was amazing. There were nicely decorated, modern rooms with large bed as well as a touch of elegance. Location: the hotel was near to comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price and a quiet neigbourhood and city wall.

Really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at the Monarch Hotel. The room had a lovely city view with premium bedding. Plenty of great dining options just a minute away. Staff were kind and added a personal touch during my check-in with a refreshing cocktail. The noise from the nearby club was good, and there were issues with the WiFi going in and out. Breakfast had a variety but could be more exciting. It was a decent stay, just needs a bit more attention to soundproofing and internet reliability.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown, just a minute away from a plaza filled with diverse dining options. The vibrant atmosphere and helpful staff enhance the overall experience, and the proximity to lively bars invites a fun night out.

The lack of an airport shuttle service was inconvenient during my arrival.

I had a fab night here! The room was super comfy and so clean, like they really pay attention to details. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the local dishes. Only bummer was the limited WiFi, which could be a hassle if you're working. But overall, it was a solid stay!

Amazing hotel with great amenities like Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and 24-hour security. The staff showed very nice kindness to my elderly parents during our first stay. I recommend enjoying the coffee in the lobby. I'm coming back for a holiday!

The room was spacious and clean with a really comfortable bed. Loved the touch of elegance in the decor! Good water pressure in the shower, and the tea provided was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and always had a smile. Plus, there's a nice restaurant downstairs with good food! Definitely a nice surprise after our safari.
